Darwinia’s Participation Strategy
Polkadot’s on-chain governance has approved two batches of auctions. Batch 1 has 5 auctions starting from November 11, 2021, till the middle of December 2021. Batch 2 has 6 auctions starting from December 23, 2021, till early March 2022.
- Darwinia’s Crowdloan Activation: Batch 1
Darwinia’s Crowdloan will be active and open for contributions when Batch 1 auctions start on November 11, 2021. You can signal your support at the very beginning. - Darwinia’s Parachain Auction: Batch 2
Darwinia will strategically skip Batch 1 auctions, but bid for Batch 2 auctions starting on December 23, 2021.

1. Contribution Pioneers
- Reward: 1 BTC proportionally distributed among the top 5 contributors based on their contribution amount.
- Qualifications:
○ Contribute more than 10,000 DOT by the start of Polkadot’s Batch 2 auction (December 23, 2021);
○ Ranking in the top 5 contributors. - Rewards Distribution Time: Will be released immediately when the Batch 2 auction starts.

- The BTC reward does not depend on Darwinia’s success in the slot auctions;
- Win a rock-solid reward within just one month, huge ROI;
- BTC will be distributed immediately without vesting terms.
Contribution Strategy:
After contributing to the Darwinia crowdloan, there is no need to wait for tokens to finish vesting or getting listed. Also, joining the crowdloan earlier with a large investment of DOT will help Darwinia Network attract more follow-up contributions which bring a higher chance of getting.
2. The Metaverse NFT Blind Boxes Airdrop
- Rewards: Limited-edition Metaverse NFT blind boxes, including Evolution Land Raffle Tickets, PLO commemorative medals (a total of 1,000 will be randomly distributed), and hidden collaborative NFTs with other popular Metaverse projects.
- Qualification: Contribute ≥10 DOT during the entire Darwinia crowdloan.

○ Evolution Land’s NFT prize pool includes a total of 200 NFT lands, 400 NFT generation-0 apostles, and 400 treasure chests. One or more of which can be randomly obtained;

3. Referral Program
- Basic Referral Reward: +5% for both the referrer and the referee.
- Qualification: You and your friend contribute to Darwinia crowdloan via the same referral link that is generated at the Darwinia PLO page.
- Advanced Referral Leaderboard Bonus: More amount of DOT will be contributed via your referral link, the higher you will move up the leaderboard. The top 10 contributors will receive up to an extra 3% boost, which means you can get as much as an 8% referral reward.
Highlights:
- Both the referrer and the referee enjoy a 5% additional reward;
- If the referred amount ranks in the top 10, you have an extra reward boost of up to 3%:
TOP 1: 5% → 8%
TOP 2–5: 5% → 7%

Contribution Strategy:
The more your friends contribute through your referral link, the more rewards you will receive, which also moves you up the referrals leaderboard and earns you an additional bonus.
4. Early Bird Program
- Rewards: Up to 120% rewards boost.
- Qualification: Contribute before the start of Polkadot’s Batch 2 auction (December 23, 2021).
- Detailed Algorithm:
- Pioneer Stage (120% reward boost): from the start of the Darwinia crowdloan to the end of the batch 1 auction (December 23, 2021). During this stage, contributors will receive a 120% reward boost.
- Regular Stage (100% reward): from the start of the batch 2 auction (December 23, 2021) to the winning auction’s candle light-up time. During this stage, contributors will receive a 100% of the reward.
- Final Stage (100% to 0 linear regression): from candle light-up time to the result-determine block within the winning auction. During this stage, rewards will reduce linearly to zero.
For example, if you participate in the crowdloan between “Darwinia Crowdloan Starts” — “Batch 2 Auction Begins” and invest 10,000 DOT, the reward multiplier will be 120%. Assuming that Darwinia wins the slot auction with 5,000,000 DOT, you will obtain 10,000 DOT / 5,000,000 DOT * (200,000,000 RING and 8,000 KTON) * 120% = 480,000 RING and 19.2 KTON.
The above calculation is a rough estimation. The value will be precisely calculated according to the block height.

Tip: The rewards for the Referral Program and the Early Bird Program will start vesting linearly if Darwinia successfully wins the Polkadot parachain slot.
