Clover Finance x Darwinia Network｜Jointly exploring standard protocols for cross-chain interaction of heterogeneous chains
We are pleased to announce that Clover Finance and Darwinia Network have inked a strategic partnership. Both projects will jointly explore solutions for cross-chain interaction of heterogeneous chains to introduce more Ethereum, BSC, and other public chain assets into the Polkadot ecosystem.
Darwinia is based on the decentralized bridging network developed by Substrate and provides the most secure universal bridging solution, which helps in the management of cross-chain assets between heterogeneous chains. At the time of writing, the cross-chain transference of assets between ETH and Polkadot has been successfully launched, which proves the feasibility of cross-chain transferences between heterogeneous chains, from a technical point of view.
Clover, as the Polkadot ecosystem’s smart contract platform, is well aware of the importance of cross-chain assets. With this partnership, the two parties will jointly study cross-chain solutions for the interaction of assets in heterogeneous chains from the technological, economical, and efficiency sides, and provide blockchain users with a technically feasible, economically feasible, and efficient heterogeneous chain cross-chain transfer bridge. At the same time, both parties will jointly study relevant cross-chain standards in the DeFi and NFT fields.
Besides, Clover has finalized the development of the BSC-Polkadot two-way cross-chain transfer bridge and is undergoing internal testing. In the near future, we will continue to develop cross-chain transfer bridges for heterogeneous chains such as Avalanche, Fantom, Heco, and combine them with Clover’s native App wallet and plug-in wallet to provide more heterogeneous chain users with access to the Polkadot ecosystem.
